Talon is a search firm focused exclusively in Information Security, CyberSecurity and IT Risk Management across industry. We are veterans of high-level Technology placements in Software, Data, Healthcare and Consulting for start-ups, mid-size, and Fortune 500 companies.
Leadership
Chance Hoag, a veteran of high-level technology searches, runs Talon Placement.
A 25-year Nashvillian, Chance moved to Nashville right out of college to be in the music business. He served as an artist manager, and knows how to sleep on a tour bus (not a skill you want to learn). After a much needed haircut, Chance turned his attention to headhunting.
Chance earned his recruiting stripes in the Silicon Valley tech boom and subsequent crash/fallout in the ’90s and early 2000s. Chance spends his time with his family — something his golf game has never forgiven him for.
Philanthropy
Service is at the core of what we do for our clients, our candidates, and our community. That’s why a portion of every placement goes to the following organizations that fight for the rights — and often the lives — of women and children in need.
International Justice Mission (IJM)
www.ijm.org – International Justice Mission’s global team rescues victims of human trafficking, provides support for those victims and works to hold slave-owners, traffickers, rapists and criminals accountable in court while working to strengthen local justice systems.
America’s Kids Belong
www.americaskidsbelong.org – America’s Kids Belong works with businesses, government, faith-based and creative communities to end the foster care and adoption crisis in the U.S. using some very innovative methods. Tennessee, our home state, has a goal of zero children in the foster system, which would mean 320 kids adopted into forever homes.
